Dan Libbey is a life-long Alaskan. Dan prepared for a life of service, initially receiving his undergraduate degree in psychology, and later obtaining a Master’s Degree in Community Service Administration. He graduated With Honors and Order of the Coif from The Ohio State University College of Law. After law school he knew he wanted to return to his home state of Alaska, where he could enjoy the friendly people and great outdoors. He served as a law clerk in the Anchorage Superior Court and later started his own law firm, Law Offices of Daniel E. Libbey, which then became Libbey Law Offices, LLC. Dan is dedicated to advocating for injured Alaskans.
Dan is active in the Alaska Trial Lawyers (formerly the Alaska Association of Justice and the Alaska Academy of Trial Lawyers), an organization dedicated to helping injury victims, where he previously served as an officer. Dan is also a graduate of the well-known Trial Lawyers College 3-Week program. He is the proud father of two girls. He is an avid skier and outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with his wife Colleen (his law partner) and daughters. Dan also enjoys participating in athletic fundraising activities, such as the Ride for Life, the Tour de Cure, and other events.
Dan is licensed to practice in Alaska and Washington. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Alaska and Western District of Washington.
